Not eating :(

My female veiled chameleon hasn't been eating much the last few days, and her color is darker than usual.

She is about 2 years old now, and has laid eggs before: 7/5/14- 63 eggs, 9/25/14- 51 eggs, 12/17/14- 40 eggs, and on 3/7/15 she laid 53 eggs. All the eggs were infertile because she has never been bred. She usually lays a lot of eggs, as you can see, but I doubt she is gravid again already. I'm not sure if her egg-laying history is helpful or not... And also she has a plant-growth-lamp, a heating lamp, and a UV bulb (I can look up the specific brands if needed) in her ginormous and plant filled cage. None of the plants are plastic. I also have a misting system set up that sprays filtered water for 15 seconds once an hour.

So usually Iggy gets a variety of crickets, meal worms, and wax-worms. Since it is getting warmer and insects are out again, she's also been eating some moths, bugs, flies, etc that I caught in the last week or so. And no one really uses pesticide in my neighborhood, so the insects should be chemical-free.

I'm worried about her, because some of her favorite treats were buzzing around in front of her face and she just looked at them but stayed on her basking spot. She has been dark green with some orange-ish spots since yesterday.
Does anyone know why?

Could she possibly have retained eggs from this last laying? Was everything normal about the laying....dug a hole, laid the eggs in it, filled it in and tamped it down and returned to the branches?

Oh gosh, I didn't even think of that possibility! Could she really have eggs left over for a month after laying 53 eggs??
She doesn't seem too chubby, if anything, she is a bit skinny...

I'll put her sand box back in just in case.

What else might it be?

Oh and I forgot to mention that she started shedding about 4 days ago but hasn't gotten farther than her head skin... but she doesn't usually refuse food when she sheds.

Everything was normal when she laid eggs.
She is a really dark green now, with even some dark purple maybe... She's been hanging out on the top half of her cage. Still won't eat. :(

Any thoughts?

I would take her to a vet and get her xrayed. Atleast if you know she is not eggbound, you can rule that out and go from there and start trying to diagnose why she is not eating and dark..

Thanks for responding, Carol. She doesn't like being handled, but I'll see if I can find my list of vets in the area that treat chameleons...
Also, the temperature was in the low 80s because of the fake winter I was giving her. I had read somewhere that it's good to give them a slightly colder 'season' to imitate winter. I just adjusted the temperature and it should be in the mid 80s soon. I think it's weird that she might react to the temperature after it had been low-ish for a while already, so I doubt that was it.
Her color was just a little bit lighter this morning, yet still with dark spots.
