Hello all!
I got my second ever chameleon. He is a male blue bar ambilobe panther chameleon. I've gotten him 3 days ago and he is refusing to eat although he is drinking and is active. I put a few Calcium dusted crickets and offered him super worms yet he still won't eat!
He is in a 18X18X36 Screen with a live pachira tree, vines, leaves. He has his UVB and his heat. I don't know why he won't eat! Please help!

Has he eaten at all since you've had him? As long as he's drinking, I would not worried. Sometimes they take a few days to settle in before they eat. Just make sure he's drinking!

But just to make sure you have it right, what's the ambient temperature and what's the basking slot temperature?

Are you 100% sure he's not eating? I've had a couple of chameleons that won't eat in front of me (or at least if they think I'm there). Like I said before, if he's drinking I wouldn't be worried, yet. Just make sure to offer him food and he'll eat when ready. Also maybe he was offered roaches more frequently at his old home so he's not really used to crickets and supers?

Maybe he's bored of crickets and superworms. Hopefully he start eating regularly :)

Thanks for the update
