I bought a Jackson Chameleon 4 days ago, i've seen him drink water, but i haven't seen him eat. He's still the dark brown color and only sometimes do i see hints of light green. I put guy loaded crickets in there and mealwroms. But he doesn't seem to want to eat. What should i do?

Avoid the temptation of handling him until he stars his usual eating habits.

They may not show it, but they get so stressed they will not eat.

If you got him in the mail, that is very stressful in it's self, so just leave him
alone and let him get used to his new surroundings.

It helps to cover the front of the cage with a dark cloth so they dont see
activity and feel more secure.

Just dust your cricks, place them on a high up vine, or in a feeder cup where
your cham can find them.

Also, dont forget to give them a dripper. Misting is not always enough.
Just find a plastic container and poke a pin hole in the bottom and stick it
on top of your cage.
Put a pan or something on the floor to catch the water.
You can get as elaborate or simple with this as you want.

Also, check your temps. they are VERY important.
A good laser thermometer is (IMO) a must have item, not an option.
You want to know the temp where your cham is perched, not just the temp
inside the cage.

If it's too cold, they will not eat.

If you follow the above, leave him alone, he will start eating soon.
