he is maybe a year...
he is a strange one- if he walks behind a leaf he falls asleep b/c its dark haha
i find that its more right before his lights go out. like i went in today at around 8:30 and he lights go out around 9:15...
and its been once or twice recently during the day- when he is outside...

Your sure do keep his lights on late. My chameleon goes to bed about 7 or 7:30 and sleeps til about 8 or 8:30 the next morning.

Definitely get him to a vet if changing the light timing doesn't fix the problem. I've noticed in the past that mine tend to get "ready" for bed about an hour before I put them to bed. My current panther does this every night. But if the sleeping during the day continues, you need to go to a vet. Also, be sure that there is a good temp drop at night (no nighttime lamps or heat sources) to be sure that he is getting good sleep.

he is eating regularly- well not at the moment b/c he is shedding so its a worm here or there.... but normally its 2-3 worms(meal worms, wax worms, phenix worms)
drinking regularly
his temp us above 65 and humidity is at lest 60-70...
he has MBD and about 4-5 months ago was at the vet. he seems to be good- clear eyes- lots of movement (more so when outside)

defiantly no night lamps! the house is always at 72 and a fan- his temp is around 60

superstiney said..."its been once or twice recently during the day- when he is outside"...in a cage outside?

It doesn't concrn me that he gets ready for lights out by going to sleep...but it does if he is shutting his eyes during the day.

You said..."his temp us above 65"...during the day or at night? What's the basking temperature?

You said he has MBD and that he was at the vets a few minutes ago....he should have pretty well recovered from the MBD by now. What have you been doing to correct the MBD?

What (specific) supplements are you giving him? How often?
What are you (specifically) gutloading with?

What type and brand of UVB light are you using?

his basking are close to 80 and when onside.. well i live in florida... :)
his MBD is better yes- i wrote that unclear. the vet gave me medicine i had to give him for a month- my mouth and shots- i feed him Phoenix worms
and just ordered silkworms.
when i give him crickets i use calcium dust
the UVB is Zoo Med along with most the UVA lights

im going to start noting times i see him sleep- and how close they are to when the lights go off...
