Not spider mites for sure

Deffinatly not spider mites i got this plant (Schefflera Arborcola) 5 days ago and this is what happened i let the cage dry between mistings i got the little dripper and that drips on my corn plant that doesnt have mold

ya i think it was because that plant was above standing water but i fixed that this morning and made a drainage system my other plant right next to it has no mold at all
 
Idk why its so crazy i live in the dry desert where there is no mold/fungus around but in my room its like 60% humidity this is the first time ive seen this

It was growing in my schefflera arborcola because i didnt have a good drainage system and it was above standing water but i fixed that this morning and it hasnt came back
 
:( I'm sure other people would have thrown in a couple dollars too.

That's Leucocoprinus birnbaumii. I've seen these in my houseplants for years, especially in the spring when the relative humidity climbs during the day. It's not terribly toxic requiring quite a few to cause gastrointestinal issues.

I usually let them be and enjoy their beauty since they, like many fungal fruits, only last a day or two.
