Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Veiled Male 7 weeks old. One week in my care.
Handling - I handle my Cham every few days!
Feeding - I feed him 15 to 20 small crickets a day.. I gut load them from a mix from my local petstore.
Supplements - I dust with calcium almost daily and Cal w/ D3 and Herptivite 2 x a month.
Watering - I have a power mister bottle and he gets misted 3 to 4 times per day and Ive seen him drink water.
Fecal Description - It is brown and white!!
History - The Veiled was bought from local petstore and hes larger than his brothers and sisters!
Cage Info:
Cage Type - Glass Exo-Terrarium.
Lighting - The light fixture that comes with the Exo-Terrarium with an UVB Bulb and an 60W house bulb on the other side.
Temperature -The temp stays around 80....Lower temp is around mid 70s and the basking spot is around 90. I use a the ZooMed digital reader.
Humidity - The humidity is around 60% and I use the dual temp and humidity guage.
Plants - I'm using live Umbrella plants and pothos.
Placement - The cage is in our main floor front room and is on a stand that puts the top of the cage chin high.
Location -Tooele, Utah
Current Problem - I have noticed that he doesn’t eat as much the last few days and that he goes to the top of his cage holding his mouth open...(He’s done that twice now that I’ve noticed!) he doesn’t breath heavily or there isn’t any bubbles or sounds coming out of his mouth!! Just not sure why he is doing it!!
