Hi all,
I'm using Nutrobal powder to dust crickets and wax worms with for my 4 month old Panther (Pepe). Would you recommend using another powder or mineral supplement? for D3 etc? I dust his food with Nutrobal every other day.
Thanks
Firstly, I'd recommend not offering waxworms, certainly not on a regular basis. They are low in nutrition, high in fat. Instead use well gutloaded locust, butterworms, silkworms, superworms, roaches, stick insects...
Nutribal I believe already contains D3, (as well as preformed vitamin A ) You'll need to read the ingreditent list to verify.
I know some members use Nutribal exclusively. But I would recommend using it a 2-3 times a week, and using a calcium only (no d3) powder the other days. I'm assuming you are feeding daily, given is is a young animal.
i would NOT use nutroal 3 times a week as your cham will overdose on vitamins, hypervitaminosis can cause organ disfunction, there is preformed vitamin A and vitamin D3 in nutrobal and it will cause problems if used to often,..
would you use a reptile vitamin supplement 3 times a week?
Hi guys, I'm new! Got my first 4 months old Panther yesterday!
I've been told to dust the crickets with Nutrobal everytime I feed him!
Am I doing the right thing?
Thank you!
Could you type out the ingredient list, or more importantly the nutritional analysis information?
I have a tub lying around so thought i'd let you know what was in it.

It does also say on the back "Special Care should be taken with animals kept under high output UV lights, these may already be producing vitamin D3. Do not overuse such lights"

Does it say how much Vitamin A, etc?
