Odd cage needing drainage

Hi all,
My name is Andy.
I'm a new veiled Cham (baby) parent.
My (unnamed) youth is about 3 or so months old and near 8"
He has been in my care for just over a week and is growing like a weed.
His first couple of days were in a 10 gallon baby snake cage I had laying around.
2 days later I bought him a rather odd "craigslist" find.
It's an oak hexagon cage that is 19x19x37 with 1/2"x1"'mesh with a nice under cabinet storage compartment.
The total hight is near 5'-7".
Hey for $75 bucks I couldn't turn it down right?
My issue is drainage, and that really sucks since I can't seem to find any commercial hexagon drainage systems.
So I have a mistking system arriving in a couple of days and I'm thinking of hitting up tapplastics to custom make a pan with either drain to an interior or an exterior bucket.
I'm considering making the drain pan side skirts 6" tall to keep a free range cricket option open....he is currently being cup fed.
Enclosed is a pic of his enclosure.
Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Andy

Sorry, I can't seem to paste a pic from my iPhone
Any way to post a pic from my phone?
Thanks.
