Odd Cham Behavior??

I installed a bulb that heated my baby veiled's basking area to 95 F. He would not stop gaping his mouth open. After that I installed a much more moderate bulb that kept it at about 83 F. I haven't seen him do it since :D. It must have something to do with heat.

It has to exactly to do with the heat, it's a way for them to cool themselves from over heating, it's good that you caught it and rectified the situation. I've had a cham that got burnt pretty bad because of that!

Thanks @brownie64 for the shower curtain trick. His humidity is around 50-60% now and drops to about 40% at night when I'm not misting. I've cut the mistings back to every 2 hours now to see how it holds and may cut back more. Is it safe to leave the curtain up all the time? I have it around the sides and back of his cage with the front clear.

Yes it's fine to leave it up your cham will get plenty of fresh air from the remaining screen openings.
