Even when it happens overnight like that? It's been about an hour and she's still showing these colors. I've just never seen her do this before so I wasn't sure what exactly what was going on. Is there an explanation to the sudden color change? Just for my own curiosity sake.Yeah she looks 100% healthy, this is not odd coloration at all, pretty typical actually. Nothing to worry about.
Yes I know that haha But when they're awake for a while and aren't turning into their darker colors when basking shouldn't I be concerned? When they sleep they can't control their pigmentation. Chameleons have "Pajama clothes"
However old mine is, 3-4 weeks ago she showed the same colors. This was directly after I got her. Completely normal, and if she starts hissing, or as I call it, angrily sneezing, at you in a bit, don't be surprised. Like a weird pre-period for them. Mine was fine after a week, though she is rather shy. As soon as she gets on my arm though, she crawls all up my stomach chest back and face, then sits right in front of me like "I'm done exploring. Can I return home now?" Well that got a little off topic but anyway, yeah it's normal.Yes I know that haha But when they're awake for a while and aren't turning into their darker colors when basking shouldn't I be concerned?
Maybe she's that pigment because she's too hot or cold. However old mine is, 3-4 weeks ago she showed the same colors. This was directly after I got her. Hmm...strange. She just changed this way over night. Her temps are are they should be and so is her humidity. I'm not sure what's going on.

Should I be concerned if she is now breathing with slight weezing and making crackling noises when breathing? It seems to me she may be developing a RI.
