# of Mistking Nozzles To Use

I haven't done a lot of searching, but I was curious on how many nozzles people use on their 24x24x48 cages?

I was thinking of one in each of the back corners but wondered if that would be overkill. My boy hates the mister so not sure if I just do one and run it a little longer. Currently the mister is not hooked up to the large cage.

My humidity stays around 60-70% with 4 mists a day at 90 seconds in the 18x18x36. The leafs have time to dry out between mists. Thanks.

how do you add a second nozzle? Right now I only have one in and it doesn't get the whole cage.

Thanks all.

zlew - Mine came with three nozzles and some Tee fittings. The Mistking site has parts depending on your setup. The Tee fittings work for me because I have a zip drip so the tubing runs to the one nozzle and then another tube back to the zip drip so it creates a continuous loop. The site has a list of all the various parts. They even sell a double misting assembly which looks pretty useful.

Well i have two in each cage, gets everything really wet, my cham used tomhate it, now he stays put, i just need to get a lIttle heater, its getting cold and the water is cold

zlew - you can find parts at home depot if you need on the spot, but if you aren't in any rush order from Mist King. I currently have 3 nozzles going and my cage looks like a zoo exhibit when the mist system turns on.

I don't think the heater concept works well. I have one set to 95 and by the time the water gets to the nozzle the heat has disapated. From the bucket to the nozzle is only 6 feet. I continue to use it though, more so because it makes me feel better that I'm trying to keep him comfortable.

He will move and sit and tolerate it but I can tell he's pissed. One of the few times it looks like someone lit fireworks under his bum....he can haul tail when he wants lol.
