Yeah,, because I want him to quit squeezing the "stuff" out of my arm!!! ;)

Koopa did that to me the ONE time I tried petting him on his back while holding him. He gripped his claws REALLY tight onto my arm.. Every time i pet, he gripped harder.. Guess he didn't like to be pet:rolleyes:

Nice! How do you put your little guy outside? On a plant, or do you hold him and then let him roam in the grass for a bit? I've been letting my little one roam in the grass, but not sure if that's the best method or not

Several different ways. I have an outdoor enclosure that they can go in, that way I don't have to be out with them 100% of the time.
On my patio I have a large hibiscus that they can roam in or I let them crawl around on me. The lady 2 I'm ALWAYS right out there close to them. I'm not comfortable letting them down in the grass... We treat it a couple times a year and I'm afraid of toxins....

I have noticed from pictures that the Veilds seem to have the longest toenails. I think the females even more so. I am not sure why this is, but just an observation I have made!!!

Your right about your observations Carol... Our panther has almost no nails, Stanley , the veiled, could hang on in a tornado!!!!!

My male veiled has large strong nails that hurts when he walks on me. My male panther morph will draw blood, his nails are fairly big but his grip is insanely strong! I've held many different chams over the years and his grip is like no other! I don't hold him very often because he's not a friendly Cham and will bite without hesitance.

our panther will slide off if you turn your arm to the side too much... not nails or grip strength!!!

Stanley's little hands are just so cute.:) The females have even longer nails and I've noticed they get even long before egg laying for digging.

Same with mine.

Lily's nails are much longer than Kinks, and Lily grips much harder than Kink does.

Yes i agree. Clairs nails are so pinchy she leaves red marks everywhere on my arms beacuse they poke thru me.
