I'm kind of scared for my chameleon.

She first laid eggs around the end of August 2009.
Then again around the beginning of December 2009.
Then again during the beginning of April 2010.

I guess they were all spaced out around 4 months.

Anyways, after that happened I got concerned and came onto these forums and asked what I was doing wrong. You guys said I was feeding her too much (10 lrg crickets a day) so I cut that down to half like somebody suggested.

...but today I found her digging around the cage! So I cut down on her food and now she's laying them again, and even SOONER? Ugh, what is this!

7 large crickets or the same weight in other feeders (roaches, suppers, horns and silks) every OTHER DAY or every THIRD day if she is over 13-14 months. the temps should be between 80-85 to produce none to very small clutches. i take it these are all infertile clutches too.. you need to realy get her on a lower feeding schedual and temperatures. how old is she? 3 clutches in less than a year is excrutiating and tolling on a reptile.

I second what veiled owner wrote. cut back on feeders for starters. what temps are you keeping? low 80's in her basking spot are ideal for helping to reduce clutches/clutch size (for veileds anyways) . what type of cham is she?

Dori, I'm sure you were pointed to Brad Ramsey's "raising kitty" blog earlier. This link is to the specific piece you need to read on minimizing risks to your female.
