Im getting a chameleon. I've already ordered a mistking. Have UVB light and basking light with lamps. Cage 24x24x48. This cage will have most if not all live plants pothos schefellera to name a few. And I have all the supplements ready for feeding calcium without and with d3. Have researched all about gutloading sandracham knows her stuff! Now here's why I'm making this post. I plan on having my chameleon in my room in which an in window air condition is located and during the night it gets around the low 60s sometimes when it's on which most of the time it is. Now I'm stuck on the decision on which type of chameleon to get for that type of temperature. I was planning on getting a jacksons in the first place and I heard they thrive in somewhat cooler temps mid to low 70s basking 80. so that was good to find out. But now I've been thinking of getting a veiled instead and they require more hotter temps and I'm worried if my room might be to cold for them. Rooms only place to put cage by the way. And also just to note I heard jacksons are harder to care for than veileds. This won't change my mind with purchase but are they considered harder? Die easier? Prone to infections more? Any input would be helpful. Thanks!
