Hes on his side~!

I don't see a main problem. Is he wild caught? Can I see a picture of his back leg? I saw in another thread a problem with feces, has he been treated for parasites?

I don't see a problem either . . . Is he still having trouble? He might have just climbed from a lower branch or vine. Sometimes they randomly stop in odd positions because they see something out of place or feel a unorthodox vibration.

His water just had this bacteria in it that was rather harmless, so after I began cleaning the fountian daily, it got better. He stopped being upside down, I think he just wanted to blend in or something becasue soon he was completly upside-down. Nothing wrong with limbs, he can walk around with ease. But right now, he is clinging to one of the fake plants on the side of the inclosure. With his one arm and one leg, it looks weird...

You could see the bacteria? Are you sure it wasn't parasites?

I really hope so, because now it seems worse. He is really agitated and puffing up. I really want to help him though because he seems in a odd position.

SJ,

If you haven't already, please fill out the "how to ask for help questionnaire here:

https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/how-to-ask-for-help.66/

This will provide us with a good start as to where your Jackson may have taken a left turn. For what it's worth Jacksons take a bit of different care and can be trick if you don't have their husbandry nailed down correctly. Let us know and hopefully, we can guide you in the right direction. .

Maybe you should get him to the vet so he can be tested for parasites, just in case. Parasites can make a chameleon go downhill fast. Imo, you should remove the fountain so a problem like this doesn't resurface. Here is the help form that @MSMorgan said you should fill out:

So sorry. It always hurts when they pass away and you couldn't help them. At least you gained experience and knowledge from this. Keeping you in my prayers :(
