Idolomantis Diabolica are crazy cool looking once they turn adult. It takes them 5-10 days to color up nicely. They get nice lime greens and purples!

duuuude!!!! i saw you at the white plains show (i have the ambanja and the "you know what") ;that thing is crazy awesome did you get rid of all of your babies? im seriously considering one of these if you didnt they are way too cool.

what up bri, these guys are nuts. im not selling any because i am trying my best to get them to adult. i must breed some!!! lol

im bringing in some WC ooths, if some hatch i should have hundreds of babies. this is one of the few species that you can ship L1's. These guys at L1 already take down house flies!

I love the dramatic change from L1 to L2. Going from a jet black to a nice white/purple/pink combo!

sweet stuff dude, keep me updated on the outcome of those ooths. i love the look of this thing but the SIZE of it is whats really getting me right now, freaking HUGE haha. very cool stuff, how close are they to what im assuming are their last moults?

This one is a sub-adult. You can see it's stubbed wings, once it molts, it will have a nice pair of wings. If all goes well.

This is the Parsons of the mantid world. Very few get them to adults that breed and get ooths that actually hatch.

I know of 6 people in the world lol.

I'm not going to give up on this species though. The lime green and purple colorations they get as adults are insane!!!!!

Holy moly, all your crazy cool mantids are making me want some! I'll have to do some research :)

Some get to 6.5 inches tall, but most are around 5 inches tall.

Apparently there are "locales" of this species that make them different.

These aren't easy getting to sub-adult, and they aren't easy keeping a live as adults.

I get mixed husbandry info. all over the web lol.

I have a couple very good friends that have been keeping this species for a very long time, and they have helped me a long the way.

They're found all over in Tanzania.

These guys like it 105 degrees during the day and 75 at night. BIG drop lol.

Thats one crazy looking mantis. Def has a fitting name. He looks diabolical! I'd love to see that thing take down some prey. Make us a video some time bro...;)

Awesome!

They are amazing looking! We "collect" rare bugs/insects.... God, I hate to even say that because they look so gorgeous in life!
