One year!!

My Jackson's chameleon fudge has made it to one yr today. I have done soo much research and dedicated a lot of time and effort to him. I have to say he looks quite happy. I do not hand feed nor have I tried. I only open his enclosure to feed him or do a cleaning. He's always on the move and looking for food. 2x2x4 ft cage. Automatic fogger and mister. Regular supplements of course. All real plants on the bottom including a massive peace Lily now blooming for the first time in the enclosure. Eats a ton of crickets and meal worms for a snack. A great addition to the family and a great looker..here's some pics of him and the setup

I feed him about five every two or three feedings.

Mealworms are not recommended feeders because of high chitin levels that can cause impaction. Have you tried superworms?

Sorry yes I meant superworms. Don't know why I wrote meal worms. I actually switched because of the size difference and then found out the beneficial factor later..

Another thing I learned to do is actually feed them. I used to just leave them in the container and feed accordingly but decided to feed them potato peels once. They devoured them and ever since then I figured if they are full so is my cham

Okay good! I was inquiring because I know that mealworms aren't the greatest. Glad you switched to supers, and I bet your cham is too!
