once when I was like 14, I almost got a venomous snake, but the guy told me i had to NEVER take it out of the tank - what kind of idiot would sell a kid a venomous snake- I knew me , and I knew that was something someday I would try - I decided not to get the snake - glad I had more smarts at 14 than the guy who was going to sell it to me - but I have always be fascinated by the venomous vipers , especially the gaboon - and those odd little horns they have - lol

I would never have one in my house. I am definitely fascinated, but I mean it's pretty scary. Don't get me wrong, I'm not afraid to pick up a CONSTRICTOR or an animal that could hurt me, but the idea of one bite being deadly is frightening to me.

The gaboons are just simply amazing. I was lucky and got into them early before the craze, before the hurricane hit the wholesaler in FL and changed the laws. If you want to something incredible, watch baby cottonmouths fish with their green tail tips. I spent literally days watching my babies fish in glass tanks. Just insane. I did always want an Eyelash Viper. (NO! I never sold to anyone under 21 years! Most people were Navy personnel.)

that is the trouble, just when you think someone understands you, and you enjoy posting back and forth, we cant see each other. If we could, we would know.
