Open mouth basking, stubborn shed

Sorry i got up early and didn't get home until now and his lights are off. What my guy has looks like a piece of shed, but with just a speck of it hanging on by a thread, but it won't seem to fall off. He also has it on his tail. I guess I should just leave it be? It doesn't look like a burn based off pictures(and btw your chams look great as well, seems like they got a good home).

If they are just barely hanging on there is no issue with taking a moistening q-tip and rubbing it off if he will let you.

So just take a Q-tip with a little water and gently rub it?

Yeah, I don't take off sheds if they are thick and still wrapped around and hanging tightly. None of your guys stuff is big enough too look like it could cause issues it you use a moistened qtip. Might want make sure the water is warm.

And be prepared to probably piss him off. He may his and even try to bite, but just get in there, and get it done. Then get out. Minimal stress is the goal.

Okay thanks! I'll give it a go tomorrow I think. This poor guy is so easy going with everything I hope he doesn't start hating me.

If he is naturally easy going he won't hate you. He might hate you at the moment, but when it's all said and done with, leave him alone for like an hour, don't even check in on him, he should be back to his lovable self. My guy always is.

so that went wayyyy better than I thought it would, pieces came right off easily. The most he did was give me an uncomfortable look, no hissing, biting, etc.
