Hi everyone, I was curious as to what most people use for their enclosures as far as nozzle types and pressure? I want to set it up for my chameleon who is free ranged at the moment and wanted some advice. thanks
The most commonly sold emitter is the 80° red, low flow unit for a fine mist. You can cover a larger area for less money with the No Bulkhead nozzles that attach directly to the tubing since your cham is free range. This is similar to how some greenhouse keepers use our stuff. I can also send you a sample of any other nozzles you'd like to try to see which ones would suit your application the best.
If you want a "splattier" mist/drip type of output, Dave Weldon is a big fan of the 105° cream regular nozzle with the pressure on the pump reduced. I don't know how this would work in your situation since it would involve a lot more water. That's fine if you have a dirt floor, but not so good for the carpet or tile!
