Ordering discoid roaches?

Just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for where I can order Discoid roaches? I'm in FL, so I can't get Dubias, and I've always went to the herp shop to purchase Discoids, but it's about 30 min away from my house, and 50% of the time they're out. I just want a more convenient and surefire way to count on feeding my cham, but I can't find anywhere that sells them, or has them in stock. Thanks!

I've read that many places dont actually sell true discoids and it's some sort of hybrid species. Not sure how much that matters though. I've had the same ~12 from lindasgonebuggie for several months now. They look healthy, but I'm not getting any nymphs. Not sure why.

I ordered some as babies and i have 4 adults now soon to be more and i order more babies here and there for feeding until my colony starts but at first i did not see any activity or good growth until i raised my temps and they stay constant 85-95 with water and veggies and roach chow, now they are much more active and growing faster. I also have a very fat looking female in there which might just have my first nymphs and im hoping the other female gets lucky too. (2-males 2-females)

Yeah I got them a larger bin recently, added some substrate, plenty of hiding spaces, food, etc. Waiting to see if that helps them along. I've heard they can be a little slower to start than some other roaches. My other roaches reproduce like crazy.

Yes they are quite slow, i was also going to go the substrate way but i decided not too and mine seem to do well like this also. I use egg crates or whatever they're called for hides and small gecko dishes for food and water crystals. This way its easier for me to check on quantity and keep them clean

I had them barebottom and I still use egg flats. Added substrate though to see if it'd make a difference. I just add carrots and oranges. They don't eat a whole lot.

Okay i see, mine love carrots over all they eat like monsters. Another thing i noticed helped is i always keep their water crystals fresh and kind of spray down in there a bit every day and they seem to like the humidity it causes along with the heat. it really got them going

I'll try wetting it a bit then. I've been keeping them dry, though my feeder room is fairly humid as it is. I just kept them like orange heads and dubia so far.

Yes try that, i do not guarantee it helps but for some reason mine have been doing pretty good this way ill be keeping on eye on how they keep up!

Hey all, don't know why I wasn't getting updates on this thread but sounds like Linda's the way to go. I emailed her the other day and apparently she has a special going on now. Thanks for all of your help!
