Other types of roaches besides Dubia

I have had the same problem with cup feeding the Dubias. If you have anything like a small piece of orange or a carrot in the cup to keep the feeders happy they will all go under it and hide all day from the light. The nice thing is that they don't die in the cup like crickets do. And they are hardy you can handle them pretty ruff and they still are fine. Also the Dubia are not very fast so they are easy to catch if they get away but watch under the potted plants because they make a dash for those fast lol

idk why I just can not get over the roach thing..... Ive adjusted to crickets and they pretty much look exactly hte same bhut in skinnier form XD

My dubia are around 100 deg and they are very active. Also I hand cupfeed them (if that makes sense), by tilting the cup a little the dubia will try to climb and kind of spaz out. My veiled will go after them everytime.

I thought the same thing and in my house they are called Dubia beetles which everyone seems ok with LOL:D but Dubias are very simple they aren't fast they don't jump or climb they don't fly if you drop one they are easy to pick up and they don't crush and die when using tongs. Once you get them they become less icky fast;)

lol I know I will overcome this one day. I awnt to watch my chams eat them XD but If I got them my sister would kkill me!! Especially if one....just so happened to get out! I always almost everytime loose a few crickets everytime I open the lid to their container and I hear about it later when my sister finds it hangin out in a diff part of the house XD Maybe I could get them and not tell her about it and if one happens to come up somewheres else... Ill just say that's not mine! xD I've really been considering it today though. I was looking through the roach forums and they did have some pretty neat looking ones.
