our cham

I would get her out of the glass cage and take her to a vet that know chameleons and have her checked out. It's always a good idea to take any new pet to the vet to be checked over and make sure to take some poo so the vet can do a fecal......that's very important. Jann

Where are you from Johnandlyn? If you are in the US or even outside of the US you can order from LLL Reptile and get her a metal screen cage. If you got her a 24"x24"x36" cage, it would work for her into adulthood.

She should not be in a glass tank. LLL sells smaller screen cages as well. You could get her the 38g cage or even the smaller one for now and then get the 'big girl cage' later on.

do you think i should get a Exo Terra Flexarium 38 for her?and would you take her to the vet just to check her leg?

put it this way..do you want to be buying a bigger one ie 100 gallon when shes adult,,cause you cant house a adult female yemen in a 38 gallon...its way to small..buy a 100 gallon now and save your self some money in the long run.

Macro, just as you can't keep an adult in a small cage you shouldn't keep a baby in a huge cage... they will never find their food.
