Our chameleon ate his house guest!

I do hope this is not a regular occurance of him eating lizards.

They are high in protein which can lead to some serious issues in your chameleon as they cannot process that much protein properly.

That was gross :(. I could not even finish watching it. I mean I know in nature they eat things like this but just does not seem right. Of course I get upset when I catch my Daschund with one. I love our anoles around out house.

Pretty cool... Like camimom said, this should not be a regular meal or even hardly an irregular meal for that matter. Once in a great, great while would probably not cause any issues.

I'd bet nearly every wild pardalis snatches up a few of these in its lifetime...

I couldn't watch it either! Should have known I wouldn't be able to handle it.. :(

Same here, couldn't watch it. Not sure how someone that has lizards as pets, can feed a lizard to their pet. Although, I take it this was not fed to him as much as the little guy was in the wrong place at the wrong time:(

that is cold. I don't like seeing any reptile getting eaten i shouldn't of watched that link =[

If you disagree so much just don't comment... Its been stated its not exactly a healthy snack for their cham, and I'm sure they weren't aware of it..

Sorry I was not disagreeing only watching and gave my thoughts like anyone else. i was taken by surprise is all, I did not mean to be offensive.

Not sure about feeding him other lizards.. seems there is lots of debate on it, I don't know about it sooo I'll keep my mouth shut ^_^

Awwwww. I'm too soft to watch it. I'd probs cry with me being an emotional preggers! Lol

I know it's completely natural for them to eat small lizards in the wild, but I couldn't bring myself to actually feed one to Simba.

Anoles are just too cute!!

To put in my 2 pennies worth, judging by the lack of posts/replies it doesn't seem like the person who posted the vid had intentions of participating, and the members who expressed their feelings didn't really say anything offensive or personal to him. They merely expressed their distress, which is (imho) understandable cause loads of folk here keep other reptiles. Are they not allowed to express their opinion? Seriously, it's internet, not North Korea
I said well stupid things here and I wasn't discouraged from participation.
