Hi everybody, since I am new to CF and there are many that don't know me, I won't start off my saying "for those of you that don't know me." ha. Ok, I got the joke out of the way. Anyways, my girlfriend Abi and I (A=Abi, B=Brian) both attend(ed) Brooks Institute. She has graduated and I will graduate in December of this year. As professional photographers, I feel that as we are a part of this community, we should at least expose you all to who we are out side of our Chameleon Eskimo C! If anyone is interested, you should check out out photography websites and blogs. Abi's is www.abielaine.com and her blog, though linked from her website is www.abielaine.wordpress.com. Brian's website is www.balexphoto.com and the blog is www.balexphoto.wordpress.com. I am currently in Santa Barbara, Ca and she has recently gone back to Woodstock, Vermont where I will be moving to in 2 weeks to be reunited and complete my schooling with an Independent Study. (My sister is going to take care of EC while we are in New England but do not worry as she has the proper knowledge and training in doing so). If anybody needs portraits, home shots or an event shot i.e. wedding or anything of that nature and are around the mid Vermont area or happen to need anything in Southern California within the next few weeks, Abi and I both would love work for you. Anyways, don't mean to heckle anyone but like I said, as we are a part of this community now, this is what we do! Lots of love everybody!!!

Howdy Brian and Abi,

Fun business :). When you need the absolute best prints made of your photographic work for a client etc, my brother is www.weldoncolorlab.com located in the LA area. Some of his clients even fly-in from overseas to get work done by him. He also specializes in mounting prints onto aluminum as well as lamination work too. He works most often between 8"x10" and 50"x120" but he can do work smaller or larger also. Tell'em Dave sent you :).

Hey thanks Dave. Once we're back in Vermont, it'll take us a a little while to afford a printer so that could be an option for people who need prints. Im assuming they can take sent files with specifications and send back prints. Epson 3800's are a few thousand dollars and full ink replacement is about 1000 itself so this could be helpful.

Thanks again!
-Brian

Howdy Brian,

Beyond his Epson inkjet work, one of his major capabilities is printing on photographic stock using a LightJet 430. Those machines are on the order of about $75,000 used. The "Fine Art" photographers love those prints :).
Here's what his LightJet 430 looks like: http://www.weldoncolorlab.com/lightjetinfo.php

SO I am totally posying on this again just for people to see! hahaha Gotta get someeeee exposure. lol

Thanks!

You could always try art/photography websites to get exposure on, like deviantArt, facebook fan pages, etc.
