I want to let mine adventure but I'm afraid of him getting sick. I plan on putting together a cage for outside though.

I figure they would be fine for a couple minutes, the real sunlight is beneficial if anything

Chams feel very vulnerable at ground level, especially if they are in a wide open area like a lawn. Maybe get them each a small tree so they can relax while getting some sun?
