Outdoor Enclosure Foliage

I recently had a custom outdoor enclosure built for my little veiled I rescued a couple months ago.

Looking for recommendations for the best trees/plants to put inside. I was thinking of a ficus tree/palm, pothos..

Anyone have any good suggestions? The enclosure is 3x2x6. I’m in San Diego, not near the coast, and I’d like to keep him outdoors most of the year! He absolutely hates us and I think he’ll be much happier outside.

Ficus and Schefflera's are what I would recommend. I would probably recommend a Ficus Tree's over the Schefflera's when/if you had to decide between the two plants. The leaf of the Ficus Tree's is going to recover faster to leaf eating than to a Schefflera Tree Leaf's. Chamaeleo calypatratus are big time leaf eating chameleon species.

If you decide you want a more exotic plant, I would go to your local nursery and look for non toxic plants there.
