outdoor roaches

i found lots of roaches (dont know what kind) outside and i am housing them and gutloading........will they be safe too eat???????

They are most likely lateralis (sp?). Are they red and black? They are really fast too and breed extremely fast. They aren't as meaty as dubia though. I wouldn't feed them off until after about a week to see if they die. That way you know if they are infected with pesticides or not.

Your best bet is to breed them and use the offspring as feeders to avoid any issues. Goodluck!

Yes they were red and black but i didnf get any offspring yet....i have had them for 3 days already but thanks for the advice guys
