Overweight veiled?

Did you dig up the big bin to see if she laid? If she didn't then you just upped the stress on her by moving g her again. When a female is going through reproduction and nearing egglaying time you want to disturb her as little as possible. All this moving and fiddling around with her can push her into eggbinding.

I didn't see anything in the bin and she willingly climbed onto my hand from her bin. I'll be keeping an eye on her but right now she doesn't seem to be showing any signs of being stressed or egg bound.

Thank you so much! This has eased some of my anxieties :) She's back in her cage. I'm going to look into getting a better fitting laying box for inside the enclosure (right now it's very tall) I've covered her cage with a towel and I'll see if anything changes. She still hasn't seemed too interested in the dirt.
great! keep us updated and start a conversation with me if you need anything:LOL:

I know this is an old thread but curious if she ever laid her eggs? My cam looks very similar to this and I’m dealing with the same thing right now

Hi and welcome to the forum. :) I don’t believe these members are active lately. I suggest starting your own thread. Make sure to provide recent pics of your cham.
