Any people here playing recreational or tournament level paintball??

I've been playing since I was 12... and am now 22. It would be cool to meet up with some people who keep chams and play paintball.

Sorry, I've never played Paint Ball but have always wanted to try it. I shot on a pistol team for a long time and I have a cham...does that sorta count? :p

all types of guns are sweet! I've become so damn good with a gun I'd love to see how I did in tactical scenarios with real guns :)

I love guns too. I hunt with a 30 06 with a killer scope and I love to skeet shoot. I'm not a bad shot if I do say so myself..LOL! :) Unfortunately, where I live there aren't any Paint Ball courses to shoot at..but like I said, I've always wanted to try.

Thanks for the info of paint ball locations. I think the closest is Gorham, ME which is about 45min-hour away. So not far. I definitely think I should try it out! I think it would be fun to shoot at people..must be a really good stress reliever..LOL!

I went all the time a few years and about 20 pounds ago. Now I just go when friends wana go and I have time. Its always alot of fun.

I've been designing paintball equipment for about 8 years. There's good chance you use something i designed.

I used to play, but I dont anymore everything seemed to expensive after my daughter was born. Sold most of my equipment, Kinda sucks when you buy new top of the line equipment and try to sell it a year later. they lose value too fast... I also use to work for hybrid technologies for a while...

My first job in the industry was at the now defunct system-x. I designed about half the NME product line (pads, clothing, etc.), including the NME marker. I only stayed there a year, but since I've done:

MARKERS:

Engineering for the FEP quest (was my project at system-x, and was "taken" by another employee after I quit, who then started FEP)

Infinity legend, HK legend, and one more version they have not released yet

Alien Independence, remains(2nd version....don't know if jack actually made this one)

currently engineering my own marker for one of the mid-level companies....just got the first prototype in, so hopefully I can tell you what it is in about a year....maybe debut at HB next March.

Other stuff:

pretty much everything that critical paintball makes

various projects for SLY, including the new Profit goggle system (the ear muffs aren't my fault!!!)

thats off the top of my head

I go paintballing at least once or twice every week or so. I use a etek 3 for speedball matches and a tippmann x7 phenom for my scenario/woodsball matches.

haha, thats cool man. good to know i got someone on the in.

we were sponsored by x.o as their factory team here from toronto before kee came and bought them out.

now i gotta rely on my teammate who works for a canadian distributor. right now we rock all the valken gear, shoot clones, and wear the ProFits.

I've already trimmed along the jaw line a little and ripped out the foam where my ears sit so that I can have a comfortable mask.

I get the ears part, but cut the jaw line....WHA??? I made it long for a reason.

Other than that, how do you guys like them?...BE HONEST, really.

What is your team?

haha, style my friend. it makes the ear pieces look much better rather than covering my entire head. there is a line along the side of the mask close to the ear which is like a sorta half oval and thats where I cut it... looks much better now.

I like them... i mean they were free... but the foam has already ripped off that goes around the lense frame, ive had to glue that back on, the velvet finishing that goes over that foam fell apart so i took that off as well. the lenses are horrible quality and the "3m" technology honestly sucks. they said the rubber thermal gasket would not allow water seepage, however i've already had my lense replaced 3 times under warranty as it fogs between the thermal. breathability could be better, but all masks other than the jt proflex are like that. after all the whining they are still good and i enjoy wearing them now that i tweaked them a bit

I was really into it in the late 90's in southern Louisiana. Had a Lockout edition mini-freeflow autococker back then. Haven't been in years, but still have my mini-mag! :D I've been itchin to play again...
