Hello Community.

It looks like us Canadians are left out in the cold (...literally) when it comes down to the purchasing of old world Chameleons; especially the Panther line.

Over the past months I have been searching high and low to find a reputable private Panther Chameleon breeder here in the Great White North but have failed miserably.

If any of you are aware of trusted Canadian Panther Chameleon Breeders please let me know. Take note, they do not have to be "publically established". This means that if you know of someone who just breeds their chameleons every once in a while to earn a little extra fun money, that will be considered too.

Its the chameleon's care that I am concerned about, not how fancy the breeder's website is. Let me tell you, I am in this for the right reasons!

Thank you all in advance,
Sphynx

Hello Sphynx. What province are you in? I have only been in the cham scene for a short while (although herping for 25 years) and already have made some valuable contacts, albeit more like friendships, of a handfull of breeders.
In my opinion they are very dedicated and professional herpers who are a priveledge to contact and converse with.Perhaps they will answer your post and good luck. I am personally "sitting" on two clutches of blue-barred ambilobe eggs!

I am also in BC, in Victoria. Where are you Sphynx?

I've had the same trouble finding breeders to help me expand my cham family. Very frustrating! as I love these creatures and now (after a move) have much more space available to house them.

I have successfully bred NoseBe in the past, as a hobbyist only, and plan to breed again later this year or next year. And I'm bringing in several new chams to my little family (from the states and from Ontario) so soon I will have other colour locals. But obviously it will still be quite awhile before I have any available. I may know someone with Ambanja or NoseBe's coming soon though - will contact him and find out for sure.
