Panther Chameleon Enclosure Help Please

Ok let's say I do get this misting system, does the misting system not only provide water for the chameleon, but provide water for all the plants to keep them alive? And the dragon strands, are they only supports for sticks or for potted plants as well?

So pros of auto misting. Your not standing their pumping and timing yourself. The cham will freely drink because your not standing there stalking it with the spray bottle. The mistking has a very very fine spray pattern much more gentle then a spray bottle. You do not have to worry if you are gone for a weekend because the mistking has a timer where you set the exact time and duration of every misting cycle you want.

Con you have to use RO or distilled water in a misting system or it will clog your nozzles using tap water.


Um yes the dragon strand ledges are supports for branches and mounting plants higher in the cage so that the floor is clear and can be cleaned easily.

I bought calcium with D3, calcium without D3, and a multi vitamin powder. I offer the crickets next to the chameleon and he doesn't eat them right away but he hunts them and eats them. Remember you are lightly dusting all feeders right before you feed them off. No powdered donuts look.

You can make all fresh... Follow this list. You want a variety of the items listed. Change it every day or it will get disgusting.

The cham looks to be more like 4 months old based on the size of your hand vs the cham. But may I ask how old you are in case your younger with smaller hands. If it is a 4 month old your still feeding it 20-25 feeders every single day. Feeding amounts change as they mature.

Ok so you have a basking fixture... IT is one of your dome lights. You can use a regular 60-75watt incandescent light bulb for it and that is your heat. No heat at night they need the cool down.

lol ok. so I am still thinking more like 4 months old due to the color blush on babies cheeks and size compared to your fingers. A two month old is very small.

I just doubled checked with my dad and he is actually 3 months old. Is that more realistic? I dont know his birthday so maybe he's close to 4 months. And the heat light I have in the dome is a 60 watt so that works. I can't return the multi vitamin so how do you want me to use the vitamin supplement, d3 supplement, and without d3 supplement.

Ok as far as FL chams goes... watch him closely and get a fecal done at the vet. They do not have a very good reputation for parasite free chameleons. You would just take in a fecal to a reptile vet. Most parasites are easy to get rid of and do not cause a ton of harm. Others do cause harm and must be treated.
