Panther chameleon enclosure size

Do I need to start out with a small enclosure when the chameleon is a baby and then upgrade the enclosure to a larger one when the chameleon gets older or can I just start out with a large enclosure for the chameleon as a baby and have the chameleon grow into it?

You'll find a different answer depending on who you ask.

I started with a baby panther and I put him in an XL reptibreeze.

Only major concerns are heating gradients and locating food. Make sure your temperatures are correct, and make sure your cham is eating enough.

Here is a care sheet with more in depth information.

I agree with Scout. The only thing I would suggest is if you find the gradient to hard for him/her to use, or he/she isn't eating like he/she should. You could just put something in the enclosure like a milk crate, and make the useable space smaller until he/she grows up. Good luck :)
