Panther chameleon weights

Hello, as some of you know, I have a very small panther chameleon whose growth seemed delayed. It seems that he has stopped gaining weight, and I just wanted to compare to other 'normal' panthers. If you could post Your panthers info, that would be awesome! Thanks!

Name: Hyperion
Locale: Sambava
Age: 13 months
Snout to vent length: approx. 5 inches
weight: 80 grams

I've seen them. I was just looking for info from newer members and perhaps updates on others. Hyperion's possibly future girlfriend is also small, so even female info to compare her to would be good. :)

May 1 / June 1 / July 1 weights.

Male 1:
12mo 127g
13mo 146g
14mo 153g

Male 2:
7mo 58g
8mo 86g
9mo 105g

Female 1:
8mo 50g
9mo 68g
10mo 89g(gravid)

Female 2:
5mo 22g
6mo 35g
7mo 46g

Been weighing monthly since Feb1/10 for my own piece of mind.

Hope that helps :)

Oops, just saw this! Holy moly your guys are huge compared to Hyperion and his girlfriend!

Hi Kara,

Just weighed Songbird and Shipoopi

Songbird: Male Ambilobe

Age: 12 months

Length STV- 8 inches

Weight- 180 grams

Shipoopi: Female Ambilobe

Age: 8 months

Length STV- 6 1/2 inches

Weight- 55 grams

My 18 month old Nosy Be male weighs 90 grams. He had a bad case of pin worms when he was 12 moths old so I'm hoping he's not to his full potential.

I had a fecal done about 4-5 months ago? He's always been a teeny weeny guy. He used to eat like there was no tomorrow and still seemed to gain very little weight. Now he has slowed down his eating (still seems like a lot compared to what others feed at his age. Equivalent of 6-10 supers every other day.) and he seems to stay right around 80-85.

hi i have a 10 month old male panther chameleon and he weighs 100g is this about right for his age ? or is he a bit small ?

thats so nice to hear as he is being a bit fussy at the moment gone off crickets and locusts and was worried he maybe not be gaining enough weight for his age, but eats supers but will only eat 1-2 a day but trying not to feed him too many still offering/trying to encourage him to eat other food including dubias crickets locusts and butterworms i would try silk worms if i could get hold of any but everyone has sold out in the uk.

I forgot to measure their length, sorry! But here are the udpated weights for the two that cooperated with me this afternoon:

Gimlie, Male Panther - 163grams (in April of 2009 he was 164g and Snout to vent length was approx 15-16 cm)

Emmet, Male Panther - 178grams (in April of 2009 he was 187g and Snout to vent approx 15cm)
