Panther colour change over time

Hey everyone, my panther has changed colour quite drastically over the last 2/3 months, I just wanted to make sure this is normal? He is otherwise healthy, eating drinking, pooping moving around, using his tongue.
The first picture is him on the 28th or March. Second picture is today

Could be, but he’s been like this duller colours for close to a month I’m pretty sure

My panther did something very similar he went almost pastel or faded colors for a bit then changed from mainly blues and greens to reds as his main body color it was strange to say the least.

Panther colors in males wax and wane with hormonal changes. In the wild it would coincide with breeding season but in captivity under artificial light it becomes random. If it occurs with other symptoms it could indicate a problem but can be just a normal variation.

I've had something similar happen with my panther too! Only thing that had changed in my husbandry was I had "upgraded" my quad T5 fixture to the arcadia T5 and Jungle dawn LED combo (run diagonally across the top). Wound up even raising those a bit because even the 6% was too intense near the top of the screen, but I'd noticed that jungle dawn is too good and was putting too much light out and my plants did not look happy. And during this time I'd noticed Ickis' coloration getting more faded, but since switching it all back he seems to be returning to a more normal state, so we'll see.
