Panther eggs at 6.5 months.

Should be fine, but dont pull it from the yolk, leave it be to soak it up. It will wake up when its ready. Try to moisten the vermiculite around it so it doesnt suck the moisture from the yolk or the baby.

I wouldn't pull the chameleons out at all whether they are butt or head first... I have learned from any eggs I have ever dealt with to let them go at their own pace. Any time I rushed them the babies ended up dieing or being runts. I do not mean to try and come off rude I am just saying from my own personal experience. I hope the rest of the eggs hatch out easy.

I'm sad to say that baby #1 didn't make it.

Baby #2 is out and doing well.

#3's egg just split.

Thank you :)

6 & 7 hatched yesterday, 4 more pipped today.

It seems to take about 24 hours after the egg pipps before they wake up.

I've also noticed that some come right out and walk around, some come 1/2 way out and go back to sleep. I've been waiting on the sleeping ones until they are clear of the egg, then putting them in the bottom of the tank under the light. They come to life in a half hour.

This one still has yolk, I left him alone until yolk was gone and he was clear of the egg. He is doing fine after warming up. It took him 48 hours to get going.

8 & 9 just hatched.

#2 didn't look so good for the first few hours this morning. I thought I had lost him. He woke up after the 2nd morning misting and seems to be doing fine now.

I have seen them drink but have not seen any of the babies eat. I have tried new born crickets (born today), hyedi fruit flys, and Melanogaster fruit flys. How long do they take before they start eating?

Woooow Green at 1 month old?
