Panther keeps puffing throat every 3 seconds

So I was late to work this morning and wasn’t able to get him his usual crickets so I fed him like 4-5 dubias but when I got back his humidity was low and now he’s puffing his throat every 3 seconds You think once he eats and gets hydrated he’ll be fine ?

Anyone know why they do this ? Sorry I’m a new owner

Post a picture!! The humidity needs to be high at night, during the day it's ok to be dry. My daytime is 50 my nightime is 75 - 80 you should fill out the help form

If his whole body is also puffing up, he's angry, bothered, stressed, It could be from lacque of proper husbandry, temperature, nutrition...... you should fill out the help form

My veiled chameleon will do the same thing right before he goes Cricket hunting. But only right before his hunt. Not like what you're describing.

He doesn’t puff it all the way big like when he’s angry just half way but constant every 3 seconds

Did he eat a large feeder? Mine will do this when he is trying to get a large hornworm down.
