Panther male or female

Hello and happy Sunday!

Anyone good at sexing panther chameleons know if I have a little boy or girl?? Sold to me as a 3 month old male about 6 weeks ago. He or she is doing great either way!

Here’s a pic I just took. I have only handled him/her a few times, when it has been nice for him weather (I’m in fl) and I was able to coax him onto my hand without stressing him too much, to put him in the screened patio plants where I just left him alone for a couple hours before putting him back in his 2x2x4. He readily eats from my hands and is fun to watch just do his thing.

They are amazing creatures and building trust feels great! Sounds like you are off to a good start. Food help the bond(trust) build quicker I do believe.

Picture #2 in the first post looks male there is a hempipenal bulge. The rest of the pictures look female Furcifer pardalis.

Why there is a bulge in that picture who is to say?!?

I believe that bulge you see is the chameleons vent, the hemipenes bulge would be right after the vent bulge at the base of the tail.

That is what I was looking at I believe. But I’m still learning.

Maybe. There is definately a bulge in picture number 2.
