Just wondering if my Panther is a male or female. Breeder said it was a male. But I just want a second opinion. If you need more pics let me know i will take some.

I had the same problem, everyone said it was female but looking at yours side by side to mine I still can’t tell the difference.

You need a picture of it's underside. Color alone is a poor way of sexing a panther, especially early on. In males the base of the tail is thicker. Do a search here and you will find illustrated photos of exactly what to look for. Once you know what your looking for it is pretty easy to sex them.

looks to me to be a male, would be my guess by the 3rd pic. However like everyone said it is hard to tell without looking other ways!

Ya I will still try getting better tail and underbell pics. Its sad my digital camera takes worse close pictures than my cell. I hope its a boy. But if not I will be happy anyway. I Saw him eat for the first time today. It was cool. But i will post some pictures tonight.

It looks like a female to me in the first pictures but 3rd made me change my mind to a male!
Good for you though, Panthers are amazing Chameleons :D

Ya. I have been into snakes since i was 8. But 3 years ago I got interested in Chameleons. Did some research and decided on The ambilobe. So i got a mix Sire was a Ambilobe and mom was a Nosybe.
