Hi everyone. Wondering if its too early to tell or not... I am also not sure on age.

If I need more pics, let me know. He/she likes to crawl pretty fast up my arm so its kind of hard to get a good pic.

Its possible to sex them right out of the egg accurately. Yours appears to be a female by the coloration and I can not see any bulge near the tail base from the pictures.

It looks male to me but I wouldnt give a 100% answer without more photos. As was said, they can be sexed as soon as they hatch. Its pretty easy actually.

Here are a few more pics... She/he was kind enough to climb the screen so I got a few from underneath although they are not the clearest pics. This enclosure is temporary, husband made it for me (new one arrives Thurs!)

Another thing is when she/he is eating crickets, the throat area is red/white striped... I assume its happy because I only saw it when it is eating.

I have been going a little crazy here trying to figure it out myself... then again i am a total noob... I am hoping for a male mainly because of the longer lifespan. :D

Any idea on how old she/he may be? I have no clue on that either. In my first post, she/he is crawling towards my husband's hands (in case you need something to compare size to)

I will get pics tomorrow out of the cage...

So the pastel looking peach and lighter brown make it seem to be a female? Is that what. people mean when they say the colors look to be female... So males will have more dark colors at this age? A newb like me sees that it displays many colors light and dark which makes it all the more confusing.

Oh and 10 weeks seems really young to me.... I bought online but don't want to post where incase its against board rules.... I know there was no choice to get male or female so it was random when I ordered.

I have not been handling the baby much... 2x since she/he arrived on friday... I hope these two pics are good enough for an ID. If not, then I will just wait and see. lol BTW the baby shed its skin today.

I have gotten more votes for male than female (posted the same pics under photography the other day) So i will just say a Male with possibly a small package... I do know that he is just about 3 months old as well (just got an email with approx age) :)

You definitely have a male. Sometimes they are hard to sex in pics because of the angles. In the recent pic your cham has a small bulge (good size for his age:rolleyes:) and typical male colors for a cham that size. You can actually see a little red and yellow coming in.

Male for sure! That last pic shows his tail buldge perfectly. Like cain said, you can already see some colors coming in.

Yes, thats the first time I saw any colors except brown/orange/gray/tan... Today I saw some green on his face when he was stalking crickets :p This is so exciting... im such a newb to the chameleon world... hehehe
