Panther or Veiled

Hi I am totally new. Can some one tell me if the Veiled Or the Panther is a better chameleon to get for my first one? Why are the Panthers more money than the Veiled? Thank-you

The care for both species is pretty much the same.
The reason panthers are more money is because they are slightly less common, and are alot more colorful. the range of color is astounding, and varies by locale. veileds, whle very pretty, are relatively the same pattern for all of them.

i love my panther chameleon just got it recentlly and it is so friendly, he eats out of my hand and he always wants to be around me he likes being out of his cage alot, but they do require some attention.
