I bet $4500 is way worth all the stuff you will see and the experience alone. Man, wish I could take the time off... I would love to go... I am going to start planning ahead for the next one... Is this a yearly thing?

$4500, then add in the $2000 to actually get to Madagascar plus $500 for spending money… Then all the camera stuff that you would want to bring to document your trip… Lenses, batteries, and memory cards… Darci and I both really want to go however we don’t have an extra 15k to fork over, let alone be paid in full in this July … We will be looking to going on the next trip though… I hope some of you can afford the trip and take some kick ass pictures, make good contacts and have the trip of a lifetime!

True that... Let's book a Caribbean cruise for like $1,500 each (total with flights, food, etc) and party it up for a week. Have fun Mike LOL.... Don't let anybody slow you down (no naps along the trail).

I'd love ot go with Bill on one of his trips someday. It seems like a lot of mone (and it is), but when ou talk to the guy, he pretty much sells it. It's not just like going on a tour - imagine going on a chameleon tour with a guide that's even MORE into the animals than you are!

Priorities are such that I cannot go, however... decided to populate the earth with my own children instead. If I asked to go to Africa while my wife was pregnant (or had just given birth), I am pretty sure all my chameleons would be murdered when I came back!

That did it... All of my Tax Returns from next year out are going into an account specifically for making a trip to Maddy. That video was amazing!Thanks Kent. So you can cross from Island to Island by walking accross the sandbar!?!? Too freakin cool!
