Panther Scratching at the Glass ??

Hello, i have had my panther chameleon Eduardo or (Ed) for a year now, he lives in an exo-terra 45cm-45cm-90cm with constantly monitored environment I.E temps in a range for basking 32.5 - 33.5, humidity in a range of 60-80 %, misted 2 times a day and a fogger on at various times controlled by me when humidity drops too low. (Fed every other day)

My problem is why pretty much all the time hes always scratching at the glass doors to come out im having an issue trying to pin point is there is something wrong with any of his set up because just scracthing at the doors does not give me a strong enough indicator what is wrong if there is anything out of place.

Any Help or Guidance would be awesome !

I think both your temps and humidity are a bit too high but not the kind of thing that would drive him into actively trying to escape 24/7. Id say he either really likes you or its just his nature as an adult male. His hormones drive him to roam and explore. It would be best if you could click on the link in my signature and then copy and paste your answers back in this thread. If you do you will receive more help than you can stand!

Part of me wonders if chameleons can "understand" glass. Every cham I've ever had has displayed this same behavior when I let them sit in the window...

Mine does the same thing! Claws constantly at the door. I think it’s a seasonal thing and he’s trying to find a mate. My bearded dragon does the same thing as well. Seems very normal so I wouldn’t worry.

Can be super annoying though and I have a fake tree I put him on but climbes off that too haha

Oh my god the replies instant !, thank you guys !, @Brodybreaux25 humidity i would agree with you but its hard to keep it at a stable range but the temps 32 is like an absolute low for basking temps i cross referenced all my care info over multiple care sheets and a few tweaks through trial and error some even said 35 for basking i think thats way too high so i believe 32 - 33.5 is a nice range..... But guys ! thank you sooo much for your advice !! so would you think its best to ignore him at times ? also yeah he is quite a very social chameleon i handle him most days take him out offer him a few wax worms as a treat ina blue moon and take him outside on hot British days to bask in natural sun light he has a very placid nature and hes like a friend to me !
