Panther & Veiled Eggs Together?

Can you incubate Panther & Veiled eggs together in the same incubator or do I need two incubators?

Patience is a virtue...we don't all sit on the computer all day.

I incubate panther eggs (74F) at cooler temperatures than veileds (78F)...so I guess you need to incubate them in different places...if you follow that. Not everyone incubates either at the temperatures I do though...so it depends on what temperature you decide to incubate them at.

Thanks, I bought 2 ReptiPro 5000's. I thought it would take two but wanted to check first. What hatching media do you use or perfer?

I use vermiculite. I had a problem getting it here so someone recommended peat. Well, the peat made my eggs mold. ACK I finally found some and got a very big bag and removed all the eggs from the peat and put them in the vermiculite.

You can buy vermiculite at a garden center of at places like Walmart...I prefer the coarse grained one because it stays more evenly moist. Just make sure its pure vermiculite and has nothing else in it.

When using it for veileds and panthers, make sure that its only barely moist. Take a fist full of it once you moisten it...if you can only squeeze a couple of drops of water from the fist full...then its right.
