Probably 14 or 15 years ago now, I owned a very large female Parsons. I have no accurate data on her length or weight. But I can describe the strength of her grip.
I had to be careful not to giggle her at all when I held her, because, if she felt unstable, she would strengthen her grip on my arm. Little droplets of blood would appear on my arm where her claws broke the skin. If she were holding one of my fingers, its tip would turn purple. She was an amazing chameleon.

This is an old pic of Hercules but I wanted to repost it as I have had plenty of questions lately about how large Parsonii get. My arm isn't small if that's the next question. He varies from 900-950 gms depending on what time of year it is.
