Parson's and Silkworms

Well that's put a downer on things, I'm getting a parsonii next month and was never thought that they arnt much for silkies as my panthers love them, I hope he/she likes them so I'm able to keep up with there fussy food habits

I've never met a parsonii that likes silkworms, not sure why. They go absolutely NUTS for snails though.

Congrats! Kimbo is so awesome (great name too!)

My Nosy Be Moe loves silks, but will not eat horworms... He prefers to cuddle with them :)

I was just going to start a thread about this!!
I have a 5 month old panther. Voracious eater when it comes to crickets. So I decided to order some silkworms and hornworms online to give him more variety. The silks and the horns arrived yesterday and I tried feeding them to Dexter. No luck. I've placed them on the branch in front of him and even tried holding them by his face. He just looks at them with no interest.

This is Dexter watching a silkworm inches away from it.

This is Dexter walking over the silkworm.

The funny thing is as soon as he walked over the silkworm, he shoots his tongue at a free ranging cricket in his enclosure. So I know he was still in an eating mood at that time.

Anybody have any other suggestions?

Silks and horns don't move so much. But if you can place them near a basking spot or out in the warm sun, they will start to move around. And then you will get a feeding reponse from chameleon.
