Parsons chameleon Caging "commercial or build yourself"

im bringing in 2 parsons into the chameleon family soon however no commercial brand has sizing for a parsons long term, i have been researching people who custom make enclosures with no luck. what direction can i go? i live in SoCal so temps are always good here year round. and if i build it myself what materials are safe?

There’s quite a few options for commercial caging on parsons just somewhat expensive but it’s a parsons so it’s expected then check out crosscut for outside enclosures he has a whole Chanel called the chameleon diy guys I believe

My next Chameleon will have a DIY cage built by me! If you have the time and skill set, build it. I love the thought of using pvc moulding for a cage build.

Tamura Designs have some good size ones. Dragon Strand might be able to make a larger enclosure if you reach out and ask. Let Bill know its for a parsons. And congrats btw!

thank you for all the recommendations! im still looking into dragon strand as I like their designs a lot. tamura thankfully is local to me so thats a big option for me. lastly is there anyone with experience with parsons? i would want to ask a lot more questions that i feel is good to ask. I like to get different perspectives on husbandry and see how things work. my breeder has a good approach on his husbandry and i trust his approach 100%. BUT id love to hear other peoples approach on parsons care.

There are some great threads on the Chameleon Forums about Calumma parsonii parsonii. I would research thoses then follow up with questions for keepers.
