Nice set up! What kind of plants did you use?

The label that`s on the plant says Foliage Indoor Plant. By the way I have noticed that two of its leaves are developing a brown spot. Could this be due to over watering? Good thing is that it hasn`t spread to any other leaves but this concerns me. I have the mister activated for 1 minute every 3 hours due to low humidity in my house. I also have the fogger activated 5 times per day for 30 minutes.

That looks good. The larger plant looks like the larger species of shcefflera and if so it is the toxic one.....may want to look into it. The smaller leaf one by the name shcefflera arboricola is the one that most folks use and is on the plants safe list

Thanks I will defiantly look in to it. I only have one plant in there which pretty much covers the entire cage. The plants that hangs down the cage are artificial.

I have not had any luck finding the species of the plant

I think it is "schefflera actinophylla". Although don't quote me on the poisonous part, I had just read another member staing it and only the arboricola is the one listed on the plants safe list which is the dwarf variety.

Thanks I will keep a eye on him. I have not seen him eat the plant but I will try to go to the store with my receipt and see if I can get the exact species of the plant.
