i ask because i have a veiled of the same age and am unsure of [his] sex.
here he is at 3 months, and again today. i realized how much he really has grown after cleaning his cage today!

She will lay infertile eggs. Make sure you have an egglaying bin in her cage for her to lay in so that she does not die eggbound.

She has spurs!! wtf? i just filled up a bucket (about 8" tall by 10" diameter) with moist sand...i guess we'll see what happens... this is weird...

That is quite weird Lou e...mind starting a new thread with some good pics for us to see the spurs? Does your cham ever show any different colours?

Usually you can see spurs on the babies quite early and then 99,9% of the time it's a male. Occasionally females can show spurs when younger but they can lose them later on when they grow.

Nice male you have. In your baby pic, you can see the tarsal spur.

I was gonna say, just for tarsal spurs on the back the hind legs, they'll look like little nubbies. That's a sure fire way to check, and you can check at any age.

I agree with Lancecham; you can see the little spur in the first pic.
