Patience does pay off!

I've had Kimani, my male veiled for 2 1/2 years now, and like most veileds he developed an attitude towards all humans. Yesterday, for the first time since he was a baby, he crawled onto my hand - I'm not sure who was more surprised! For all of you owners who despair of this ever happening, take heart, have patience, and one day you could be holding your Cham too!

Yay!!!! Too cool Michelle!!!!! It gives hope to those if us that have a challenge on out hands !!!

Thank you all! It was cloudy and I had to leave, but next time I'll take him out to the lanai and let him spend the afternoon on the ficus out there.

Both eyes and all my fingers! Kimani absolutely hates my husband, which is funny because with our work schedules, he's the one who feeds him most of the time. I bought a chair and foot stool for my reptile room, so I've been sitting in there reading with Kimani able to watch me.
